Every year, March is designated Women’s History Month by presidential proclamation. The month is set aside to honor women’s contributions in American history.

We are honoring Women’s History Month by recognizing the inspiring women of the Fox Valley Technical College community. Throughout the month, students and staff women will be sharing their empowering stories.


Wednesday, March 8: International Women’s Day

11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. - Native American Ribbon Skirt Making Workshop

First Nations Outreach Inc. is offering a ribbon skirt making workshop. Please bring materials for your ribbon skirt and additional supplies.

Nobuhle is an international student from South Africa who is passionate about empowering women. To promote menstrual health, she is leading a feminine hygiene drive for FVTC students. Donation boxes are located in the Campus Care Clinic (Room HS 201), Diversity & Inclusion Services (Room E120) and Global Studies (Room G130).
